The cabinet design comprises a black lacquered brass plate and a body with soft-feel elastomer resin coating, both of which help to prevent unwanted resonances. Inside, the pole piece, front and rear yoke and gold-plated signal output pins of the S MKII MC systems are cryogenically treated to achieve a particularly natural sound with fine resolution and deeper bass response, as with the larger Hana ML and Umami models.
