However, the new streaming board does not use the source as a digital clock generator, but rather the master clock of the D\/A converter used in the ND 555. The data is oversampled in a SHARC DSP to an accuracy of 40 bits before being sent to the Burr-Brown PCM1704, an R2R converter valued for its high sound quality.\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003eNaim DR voltage regulators, from Naim amplifier series and power supplies, are now used for the first time in a network player, where they supply the highly sensitive audio circuits of the ND 555 with an extremely stable DC voltage.
