The Audioquest power conditioner removes more noise and distortion than most common power conditioners and significantly improves the performance of your system. Unlike typical surge protectors, non-sacrificial surge suppression prevents damage to your equipment from both high voltage and high current, ensuring that your PowerQuest device can continue to serve you for a long time.
In addition, the PowerQuest PQ2 features a slim design and a sturdy stand, making it ideal for placement behind a cabinet. The power cords are connected to the top AC outlets, ensuring easy installation. If you prefer shelf placement, you can easily remove the stand. This gives you convenient access to all six AC outlets. It has never been so easy and convenient to supply your AV system with clean power.
Features
- EXTREME VOLTAGE SHUTDOWN
140 VAC: Activates the main circuit relay, which opens in less than 0.25 seconds; automatic reset when the input current returns to the safe range. - NON-SACRIFICIAL SURGE SUPPRESSION
No damage in surge tests with repeated 6000 V/3000 A input, the maximum that can come through a building's electrical lines. - LINEAR FILTERS
Differential-mode noise reduction: more than 22 dB reduction from 30 kHz–1 GHz. Filters are linearized for a dynamic (rising) mains impedance at a frequency starting from 0.05 Ohm (source) and 10 to 50 Ohm load (depending on the power consumption of the respective system). - 4K/8K VIDEO OPTIMIZED OUTPUT
In addition to the linear filter, this outlet features additional Noise Dissipation Technology to maximize TV performance. - MAXIMUM INPUT RATED CURRENT CAPACITY: 16 A (RMS) @ 220-240V
- USB CHARGING CAPACITY: 2 X PORTS – TOTAL CAPACITY 3.4 A
- DIRECTION-OPTIMIZED AUDIOQUEST POWER CABLE WITH CONCENTRIC GEOMETRY
NRG-X3
AudioQuest's award-winning NRG-X AC power cables have been loved by many experienced audiophiles and newcomers alike – for their unparalleled combination of performance and value. Compared to standard AC power cables or even premium cables at similar or higher prices, NRG-X cables have always offered improved bass definition, enhanced transient articulation, a larger soundstage, and more of the valuable spatial cues that bring recorded music to life.
AudioQuest now offers the next generation of NRG-X AC cables, continuing the tradition of outstanding performance and exceptional value while complementing and enhancing today's exciting electronics.
These new NRG-X series power cables use directional Long-Grain Copper (LGC) in a semi-solid concentric topology – a sophisticated physical arrangement in which the strands are packed more tightly and never change their position within the bundle. Directional LGC minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries present in any metal conductor, which in turn ensures that induced noise is properly dissipated and drained – as always, AudioQuest routes noise to where it will least harm your system's performance.
While the previous X cables had 37 strands in three layers over the single center strand, the new X-series power cables have only seven larger strands consisting of only a single uniform layer over a center strand. This refinement may sound simple, but the improved result is delightfully clear.
In addition, the 3-pole NRG-X3 is available with C13 and C5 socket ends to accommodate a wide range of today's new components.
The X-series power cables were developed by AudioQuest to effectively reduce noise in your audio/video system. They are true to the music and allow you to hear more of what is on the recording.
We invite you to experience the difference!
Features
- LONG-GRAIN COPPER (LGC)
Long-Grain Copper (LGC) reduces distortion caused by the grain boundaries present in any metal conductor. - SEMI-SOLID CONCENTRIC CONDUCTORS
In the Semi-Solid Concentric conductor topology, the strands are packed more tightly and do not change their position within the bundle. - DIRECTION-CONTROLLED CONDUCTORS
As a fundamental component of versatile Noise Dissipation Technology, direction-controlled conductors ensure that induced noise is cleanly dissipated and drained.
