Mobile Sampling
The blackbox 2 is designed for users who want to quickly capture, structure, and immediately process ideas. Its compact format, battery, and touchscreen make it suitable for mobile sessions as well as a permanent place in the studio.
Working without a DAW
The workflow is clearly designed for standalone operation. Loops, one-shots, slices, and multisamples can be loaded, edited, and sequenced directly on the device, without the need for a computer.
Performance and Control
With separate views for Launch, Scene, Song, Mixing, and Effects, operation remains clear even with more complex projects. The combination of probability functions, XY effects, and live looping makes the device particularly interesting for spontaneous performances.
Flexible in the System
USB-C, MIDI, Clock, and the multiple audio outputs facilitate integration into existing setups. At the same time, internal resampling and streaming from microSD allow for long takes and detailed instruments without unnecessarily slowing down the workflow.
