Faszination Heimkino: Wir präsentieren ein hochinteressantes Programm mit vielen Highlights

The impact and magic of a film are closely tied to experiencing the atmosphere of a movie theater. Did you know that the birth of cinema was inaugurated by the Lumière brothers with their invention of the cinematograph in 1895? During a screening in a small room on a large screen, the siblings showed their first short film, titled 'The Arrival of a Train at the Station in La Ciotat', which actually only depicted a train pulling into the station. Nothing that would take your breath away today, but back then, guests threw themselves under their chairs or fled the theater to avoid being run over by the incoming train.

Pure emotion. Being right in the middle of it all – that’s what it’s all about. If you love forgetting the world around you in your favorite armchair – whether it’s with the latest blockbuster, a documentary, your favorite concert, or a sports event – then you can try out several projectors from our range here and compare them directly. We have several home cinemas installed in different room sizes at our location, and you’ll be surprised at what’s possible. Even a small room can be transformed into a home cinema and offer a theater-like experience.

Our home cinema experts know what matters when you want to unlock the full potential of the cinematic experience right within the comfort of your own home.

At our garden cinema, we’re testing the DLA-NZ8 by JVC against the VPL-XW7000ES from Sony. Both models fall into the price range of around 15,000 euros. A special highlight is the showcase of the DLA-NZ9, which sits in the price segment around 26,000 euros.

In our multiplex theater, we’re testing the projectors Sony VPL-XW5000ES, Epson EH-LS12000B and the DLA-NP5 from JVC, which range between 5,000 and 7,000 euros. Also in the running is Denon’s new AVC-X3800H paired with the Bowers & Wilkins 700 S3. Audio won’t be shortchanged either.

At our small courtyard cinema, we’re showcasing on a Stewart projection screen, Sim 2, supported by Lumagen.

If you’re not sure which technology best fits your needs, we’ll be happy to assist you with all your questions.

What about the lighting conditions and the size of your room, what’s the projection distance, what screen size do you want, and what do you most enjoy watching on the big screen?

Bring a few smartphone photos of the room you want to turn into a home cinema, or send some to us in advance via email. That way, we can get a better sense of your space and find technical perfection for you, so that a theater experience in your own home is always available for you and your loved ones.

All the details about our event can be found in our event program flyer.

Since we only have limited capacity, we ask that you register in advance via our dedicated booking system. We’re already looking forward to your visit!
