The manufacturer Finite Elemente, previously known for its racks, demonstrates that it's not just about size, but also about technology. Behind the name "Modul-LS" lies a design loudspeaker that perfectly matches the furniture of the same name, "Modul."
By partially activating the speaker, it was possible to construct a compact unit that plays down to 15Hz. For this purpose, each speaker features two side-mounted 260mm Scanspeak woofers, each driven by a 500-watt digital power amplifier. In total, the speakers have 2000 watts of pure "bass power" available. For the mid-range and treble, extremely high-quality Scanspeak drivers are also used, which are conventionally driven by the connected HiFi amplifier.
Whether with or without the "Modul" furniture, the "Modul-LS" are convincing. The warm fundamental tone allows the listener not only to hear the music but also to feel it. In addition, the speakers project a spaciousness that one usually only experiences at live performances.
