First, let’s take a look at the Iconic from the outside. This all-in-one TV-audio system is designed to immerse your senses. The base of this television is crafted from Syno-Stone material: a stone-like, solid mineral composite that not only promises long-lasting durability but is also extremely hygienic thanks to its non-porous surface. This material is familiar from kitchen countertops, so sturdiness is guaranteed! Inside the housing, the TV and soundbar visually merge into a single cohesive unit. The soundbar itself is hidden behind a fabric grille. Acoustically, the stone housing is its ideal partner.
The soundbar includes three forward-firing speakers (left, center, and right) plus two subwoofers. Of course, the system can be expanded to 5.1. For example, add two front and rear speakers along with a subwoofer. When you pair front speakers, the left and right drivers convert into center speakers. You can choose between two variants – the Iconic i. in 55 Zoll and 65 Zoll as well as the Iconic v. 55 Zoll and 65 Zoll. So what’s the difference between the two models? Both variants share an ultra-high-definition 4K OLED display – calibrated out of the factory, by the way. They support HLG, HDR10, and Dolby Vision.
With the Iconic v., you can record shows directly without needing an external USB hard drive. This model actually has a built-in hard drive with one terabyte of storage space. You can also record two shows at the same time, or watch one program while recording a second. It’s also possible to pause a show and pick right back up where you left off later on. The bonus feature is Mimi Sound Personalization, which lets you adjust the sound to your personal hearing preferences. The Iconic v. uses the SL5 motherboard, which you may already know from the bild v you already know. This means streaming capabilities are somewhat limited, but Loewe includes a Fire TV Stick that solves this issue, which has proven effective so far.
If you prefer video on demand and can do without dual tuners, you’ll appreciate the Iconic i. This is a smart TV that lets you navigate directly to your favorite providers via the menu. The television runs on the SL7 platform, which supports Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and soon Apple TV+ as well. This model also comes with a built-in hard drive as standard, so you can conveniently record shows here too.
