Equipped with 2 excellent digital HD tuners (optionally for DVB-S2, -C or -T for HDTV and PAL reception), a 1000GB hard drive and a DVD burner, the DVC2000 combines a digital video recorder, an editing suite with DVD burner, a music archive, CD player/recorder and a network client in one device. In addition, the system is equipped with a variety of analog inputs and outputs, thus enabling, for example, the recording of analog material from external sources.
In addition to the excellent quality of the integrated tuners and video & audio processors, the intuitive usability is particularly noteworthy. The clear presentation, the brief description of the individual buttons and the extensive avoidance of English terms enable every user to get started with the many functions of the device immediately.
A Blu-ray burner for burning HD and SD content to Blu-ray media is optionally available. However, playing commercial Blu-ray movies is not yet possible in the current version.
