Since the "family" behind the French manufacturer TRIANGLE consists of true connoisseurs, the credo for music is the same as it was for gourmets – everything must taste particularly good, and therefore everything must sound particularly good.
The sound is based on the idea of developing loudspeakers that convey a live feeling. With this in mind, the French manufacturer launched its first model in 1980. What is particularly exciting about this manufacturer is that all elements are developed and built in-house according to their own design, with no external components. Accordingly, there is something very personal in the models.
The Elara series impresses at first glance with its innovative, minimalist design, bridging the gap between classic HiFi systems and original design. All screws are hidden behind rubber rings, allowing the listener to concentrate on the music without distraction. The style is underlined by a simple black or white cabinet, making the speakers suitable for any interior.
However, it is primarily the sound that makes these speakers convincing. Thanks to newly developed silk-dome tweeters and cone woofers with inverse dust caps, a powerful bass and a warm soundscape are produced from the very first note. The bookshelf speaker is in no way inferior to the two floor-standing speakers.
The woofer/midrange cones have a paper base. The sealed paper is particularly concave, creating the bass tones and incoming sounds characteristic of the Elara series. To support the cones, dust caps have been omitted.
Although the LN01 are particularly suitable for surround setups due to their compact size, they exhibit above-average musicality that is very well suited for HiFi. Even low frequencies are handled excellently. All in all, the compact speaker has a very balanced sound that should not be underestimated despite its small size.
The LN05 are slim floor-standing speakers that are particularly stable due to internal bracing. Unlike the smaller bookshelf speakers, they have two cone woofers/midrange drivers with inverse dust caps.
As a stereo system in large rooms, the 2.5-way floor-standing speakers LN07 are ideal. In terms of their efficiency and sensitivity, they are considered the reference model of the Elara series.
