The new JVC projectors come in a beautiful aluminum body that makes them particularly sturdy. Integrated into this is the all-glass lens, which has a diameter of 65 mm. The home cinema projectors are available in black, and the smaller DLA-N5 is also available in a white version.
Key Features
First things first. The main feature of JVC projectors is, of course, the D-ILA panels with native 4K resolution. This alone is four times that of Full HD.
The large DLA-NX9B even features the so-called 8K e-shift technology, which further significantly improves the already excellent 4K image quality. This makes it the world's first projector to feature this technology! But how is it possible to double the resolution? The additionally calculated pixels are shifted diagonally by half a pixel, allowing the projector to achieve almost the image quality of an 8K display. This has a particularly positive effect on screens, as the images look especially lifelike. A real treat for home cinema fans!
The light output of the projectors and the enormously deep black level they can display are remarkable. The DLA-NX9B and DLA-N7BE also feature the extended DCI P3 color space, which ensures cinema-quality visual experiences. All three projectors come with the "Auto Tone Mapping" function. This automatically adjusts the respective content, ensuring excellent HDR playback with extremely high-contrast images.
The new projectors have a mode that allows multiple settings such as pixels, screen mask, lens memory, and others to be preset. Two HDMI ports complete the features of the projectors.
Clear and high-contrast images in native 4K enjoyment – that's the hallmark of JVC's new projectors. The home cinema giants DLA-N5, DLA-N7BE and DLA-NX9B are scheduled to arrive this autumn. We are very excited!
