The basis for any good in-ear headphone is its wearing comfort, because if it doesn't fit well, even the best sound quality won't be able to convince you. To address this fundamental need, Phonak's years of experience in manufacturing hearing aids were utilized: thanks to silicone and foam ear tips in various sizes, the earphone adapts perfectly to the ear canal. In addition to a comfortable fit in the ear, efficient suppression of disturbing ambient noise is also achieved (up to -23dB!), which in turn actively protects the hearing, as the volume does not have to be turned up excessively. This shielding cannot, of course, be fully compared with individually custom-made ear tips, such as those offered by the manufacturer Beyerdynamic, but it performs significantly better compared to other in-ear headphones. Additionally, the silicone cable routing allows the headphones to be attached from above, so they are further secured and cannot easily loosen, for example during sports.
Audéo Perfect Fit Earphones offer crystal-clear and rich sound. Thanks to easily replaceable passive audio filters, the frequency response can be adapted to individual listening preferences – a principle that deserves closer examination. The manufacturer states the following:

These have a significant influence on the frequency response of the earphones and ensure that the sound is perceived as if with open ears, despite the sealed ear canal.
