Sonos Multiroom Sound System

Using a Sonos system is so amazingly simple that no computer skills are required. Simply connect a Sonos Bridge or Sonos ZonePlayer to your network with a cable. Now you can connect any number of Sonos devices via the wireless network, so you don't even need additional network cables.

Operation is via a handy system remote control with a large display, which also works via the Sonos devices' wireless network. This enables all Sonos devices to be operated throughout the entire house, from any room.

To distribute music from your computer across the entire network with Sonos, all you need is an external network hard drive. The Sonos system directly accesses the data on the hard drive; a media server is not required. In addition, it is easily possible to stream tracks from a CD player or iPod. Source devices can also be connected to each ZonePlayer. This allows playback devices from any room to be distributed to individual rooms or throughout the entire house if desired. For example, if you go to the kitchen or bathroom during a movie or football game, you can stay in the middle of the action. As a special feature, Sonos supports not only a gigantic number of internet radio stations but also the music services LastFM and Deezer. This means you can always choose the music genre you want to play. You will get to know many new bands that you might never have heard on the radio.
