Review: Meze Audio Poet – Magnetic Over-Ear Headphones with Model Qualities

The Eastern European acoustics project Meze Audio is probably only known to connoisseurs of the scene. Behind Meze are experienced headphone specialists based in Baia Mare (Romania), who have now expanded their well-maintained range with the Poet model: an open-back over-ear with magnetostatic drivers at a price of 2,000 euros. While this is certainly an ambitious price, the noble headphones are still only in the mid-range of the Romanian acoustics specialist's offerings. LowBeats was one of the first magazines in Germany to have the opportunity to test the outwardly highly attractive Meze Audio Poet.
