Maja Möbel
First, let’s take a look at the new offerings from Maja Möbel, the Upper Franconian furniture manufacturer based in Kasendorf. The designer lowboard Soundconceptwill now optionally be available with a universally usable TV mount, making it even more flexible. A touch of science fiction is also coming to the Bavarian brand’s lineup: Thanks to inductive energy transfer (QI technology), compatible mobile devices will be able to charge wirelessly in the future – simply place them on the designated spot.
Also worth noting is the expanded shelving system from the Cableboard series, which lets you route cables invisibly through the center side panels. All elements in the series can be used equally well as wall-mounted shelves (flush-mountable) or as room dividers, and can be combined as needed – even around corners. Optional drawer, flap, and door inserts, plus a gas-powered fireplace insert as a standout feature, round out the new Cableboard system.
Schnepel
In the updated lineup from the East Westphalian manufacturer Schnepel, we were particularly impressed by the new Schnepel S2 universal stand base. The chrome-plated stand provides stable support for televisions between 32 and 55 inches and is height-adjustable. Additionally, the installed TV can be rotated, ensuring a perfect viewing angle at all times. The cables are naturally routed through the central pole, and a soundbar can also be mounted below the television using a separately available accessory.
Spectral
There are also some updates to the lineup from Spectral, the manufacturer based near Stuttgart. The Catena series will be discontinued going forward and merged with the new Scala series. The Swabian brand has also adopted inductive charging – some models already come equipped with the "Smart Charge" feature, with more models to follow later this year.
For the Ameno Series glass shelves will also be available for the first time soon, and integrable LED spots also provide effective, indirect lighting. Spectral is addressing the topic of fire in two different ways: Smart Fire uses an HD display and mirror trick (Pepper’s Ghost effect) to conjure a virtual fireplace into the shelf, while Smart Flame simulates flickering flames on the surface of the Ameno board using water vapor and LED lighting. Last but not least, the color and material selection has been expanded and restructured.
Availability
All new products will be available in the coming weeks and months.
