Similar to the Ameno series we introduced last year, the Twenty is a highly configurable furniture system with numerous design options and clever solutions to integrate your home electronics. The eponymous spacing of 20cm allows different elements to play tetris where appropriate combining pieces both horizontally and vertically to enhance your desired configuration. The boxes range between 20cm and 160cm in width and 10cm and 180cm in height and are available in three depths – 28cm, 38cm and 48cm. Ensure secure footing either with a flat base or a sledge foot, or alternatively, of course, the Twenty also has the option of wall installation. Additional elements include a cube shaped table with an adjustable 40cm connector.

Surfaces & Frontages

Principle to all the Twenty series components are two different surface types: semi-gloss painted and veneered. While the latter is available in three variants: Sand Oak, Dark Oak and Indian Walnut, the semi-gloss painted model has a total of 26 different colours. The boxes are optionally open, available with drawer units, doors or flaps. The fronts are handle-less and are operated via a touch system. All surface variations are available to be selected for the frontages as well. In addition, there is a special type of valve with a thin fabric covering in the colours Black, Silver and Carbon.

Integrated Electronics

These special fronts were specially created for this to allow the invisible integration of sound systems, without negatively affecting the sound. In particular, sound bars are of course intended for use with the Twenty and there are now quite a few devices that come as a complete sound system for your very own four walls. A TV can also be included using the TV mount optional easily into a Twenty-installation. Unsightly cabling is elegantly located inside the column. The growing importance of smartphone or tablet as a control centre for getting better connected CE has been considered by the developers at Spectral. The side table Connect is equipped with a built-in charging dock for iPhone or iPad, so that photos, videos and music are only a grasp away.

Final Thoughts

Once again Spectral managed to design a valent and elaborate furniture concept. The selection of elements and colours offers many design options, but the Twenty, not in the least due to its size is anything but complicated. Modern and intelligently implemented features like the TV mount or the loading dock for smartphone and tablet underline the positive overall impression meaning we are very pleased to present you with Twenty shortly.
