Powerful yet precise bass takes the listening experience to a new level. Such is the case with the technical masterpiece Cabasse The Pearl Sub. Visually compact and in the spherical shape typical of The Pearl speakers, the highly solid, finely crafted cabinet conceals a fireworks display of contemporary, exclusive technology. Available in matte white or matte black, The Pearl Sub is characterized by a high degree of uniqueness.
The Pearl Sub is the first network-enabled, active 1.2-subwoofer with a 25 cm driver that combines maximum low-frequency dynamics with maximum acoustic control thanks to its sophisticated onboard features and furious 1,000 watt subwoofer amplifier (continuous power, temporary peak power 2,000 watts).
In addition, the French "small power plant" proves to be versatile. On the back there are carbon speaker terminals that allow the supply of any satellite speakers with up to 600 (!) watts of peak power per channel.
The powerful power amplifiers required for this are built directly into the active subwoofer – thus, the Pearl Sub is much more than just a simple active subwoofer. It is a well-thought-out entertainment center with patented DEAP technology. This is a highly effective sound optimization for the optimal use of Cabasse iO3, Riga 2, or Baltic 5 speakers.
The French engineers have also integrated automatic CRCS room correction for the best sound under almost all practical conditions.
High-resolution streaming is possible wired or wirelessly; wireless options include WiFi or Bluetooth. In addition, there is an optical digital input, an analog RCA/Cinch input plus an Ethernet slot and a USB port. The Pearl Sub comes with an attractively and practically designed Bluetooth remote control and can also be controlled via the StreamCONTROL app.
The Pearl Sub seamlessly integrates into Cabasse's StreamCONTROL multiroom system and ensures that an enormous media variety makes even extremely demanding users happy: from MP3, AAC, and WMA files to ultra-high-definition files in AIFF/FLAC/ALAC format. Extremely precise D/A converters inside the Pearl Sub are capable of processing up to 768 kHz/32-bit.
