For the first time, the Planar 3 is manufactured using a special high-pressure laminate (normally used for Planar 6, Planar 8, and Planar 10) to significantly improve the rigidity of the chassis compared to the standard P3 model.
Rega's Double Brace Technology, specifically mounted where increased rigidity is required (between the tonearm and the platter bearing), prevents energy absorption and unwanted resonances that would lead to unnatural distortions in the music. This new premium surface has a brushed aluminium satin finish.
The Planar 3 RS Edition (Rega Special) comes with a Neo PSU MK2 power supply matched to the turntable. The award-winning Nd5 MM cartridge system is pre-mounted at the factory.
The high-quality new plinth is edged in high-gloss black, highlighting the elegant metal finish. The Planar 3 RS is supplied with a tinted dust cover to ensure it harmonizes perfectly with other HiFi equipment.
Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2The Debut EVO 2 is the latest addition to the popular Debut series. It features the Pick it MM EVO cartridge, which is factory-mounted on a one-piece 8.6-inch carbon tonearm with redesigned gimbal bearing for low friction and best stability. The newly designed RCA output box is now integrated into the plinth, emphasizing the clear aesthetic of the Debut EVO.

Premium Tonearm
The Debut EVO 2 turntable features a high-quality 8.6-inch carbon fiber tonearm with a solid aluminum bearing construction. The low-friction tonearm bearing ensures precise, stable, and accurate tracking. Carbon fiber gives the tonearm high rigidity while keeping the weight very low. The one-piece tonearm and headshell design prevents unwanted resonances and provides a solid connection to the cartridge.
Heavy, Damped Aluminium Platter
The 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter undergoes an additional step of re-working and fine balancing. The heavy platter has an internal ring of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) that dampens resonances and minimizes speed fluctuations.
The Debut EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic, allowing you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to True Balanced technology.
The separately available Record Puck E offers an additional level of damping and stability, making it the perfect addition.
Height-Adjustable, Damped Feet
The new Debut EVO 2 stands on three height-adjustable, damped feet to ensure perfect stability. By using three feet, we can increase stability on uneven surfaces, as a perfectly level turntable is essential for true high-end sound.
The New Pick it MM EVO
The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2 in every respect. It not only complements the lightweight tonearm acoustically but also looks fantastic. The cartridge system consists of a unique combination of technologies and has a very flat frequency response comparable to MC cartridges.
Premium DC/AC Power Generator
A switching power supply feeds the precise AC generator located inside the turntable, which generates a completely new sine wave, thereby driving the motor with the highest speed stability.
The Upgrade for Your Phono Setup
Your phono setup requires a clean and stable power supply. The included power supply is already a good foundation, but we want to go further. The Power Box S3 Phono powers the Debut EVO 2 and a Pro-Ject phono preamplifier. Its two outputs are specifically designed to power Pro-Ject turntables and phono preamplifiers.
Sophisticated DC filtering can have a dramatic impact on sound quality. In addition to sound improvements, the Power Box S3 Phono also offers its users a cleaner cable solution, avoiding power supply and cable clutter.
