Sonus Faber is entering the market with a strong product. This time, the portfolio is to be rounded off with the innovative Duetto Wireless Speakers. Wireless listening has been growing in popularity for a while now, so it's no surprise that the Italians are releasing their own handcrafted version of wireless audio.
The core of the active two-way bass-reflex speaker lies in its high connectivity, both digital and analog. Naturally, this includes all common music streaming services, allowing platforms like Spotify or Tidal to be streamed via Wi-Fi and LAN. AirPlay and Chromecast also pose no problems. A nice bonus: the Duetto are Roon-ready and, of course, Bluetooth-enabled. On the back of the speaker, you'll find the analog inputs, including an HDMI connection, optical inputs, and even a built-in phono stage connection. Vinyl lovers will also get their money's worth!
We are particularly impressed by the aesthetics of the Duetto. The combination of leather applications and stylish wood creates a tasteful impression. On top of that, there are custom-made heatsinks. A particularly elegant solution is the control via the Senso leather top of the speakers, which serves as the touch-sensitive control panel on the main speaker. Here you can adjust the volume or select the input. Of course, there's also an app for control.
The speaker's variable placement speaks to its high flexibility, as it can be displayed equally well on a shelf or table, as well as on the (separately available) stands.
