High-Excursion Driver with DLC Diaphragm

At the heart of The Arranger is a 44mm high-excursion driver developed by Austrian Audio, featuring a Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) diaphragm and a proprietary ring magnet system. This driver architecture ensures fast impulse response, exceptionally low distortion, and impressive low-frequency extension.

The bass extends in a controlled manner down to 5 Hz, impressing with its structure, depth, and precision. The reproduction remains consistently balanced, avoiding excessive emphasis or artificial fullness.

Open-Back Design for Natural Spatial Imaging

Thanks to its open-back design, The Arranger unfolds a wide and airy soundstage. Instruments and voices are precisely positioned in space, creating an open, natural representation – far from the typical "in-head" reproduction of many headphones.

The mids are balanced and realistic, especially for voices and acoustic instruments. The highs remain finely resolved and airy, without causing fatigue during long listening sessions.

In addition to sound performance, everyday usability was also a focus of the development. The foldable metal frame, robust all-metal hinges, and carefully selected materials ensure a durable construction.

Soft leatherette earcups offer high wearing comfort even during long listening or studio sessions. Both the earcups and the headband are replaceable – making The Arranger fully serviceable and designed for long-term use.

Professional Connectivity and Easy to Drive

Connection is via a professional 4-pin socket, which supports both the included TRS cable and optional balanced cables – such as Pentaconn or 5-pin XLR.

With an impedance of 25 ohms and high sensitivity, The Arranger can be easily operated with high-quality portable players. At the same time, it benefits significantly in sound quality from dedicated headphone amplifiers.
