With the open-back DT 900 PRO X, Beyerdynamic presents circumaural studio headphones suitable for professional monitoring, mixing, and mastering in the studio as well as on the go. This is made possible by the STELLAR.45 driver newly developed in Heilbronn, which reproduces the best studio-quality sound loudly and powerfully - on all playback devices. Additionally, there is a replaceable mini-XLR cable and newly designed ear pads that provide the usual highest wearing comfort. Robust and high-quality manufactured materials complete the headphones, which are handmade in Germany.

Proven studio sound meets high performance
The STELLAR.45 transducer, developed and produced locally in Heilbronn, delivers the proven Beyerdynamic sound with previously unmatched performance in the studio headphone class. The reason for this is a strong neodymium magnet and a voice coil made of copper-plated high-tech wire. The trade-off between the conductivity and weight of the wire is unique. In combination with the newly developed three-layer speaker diaphragm with an integrated damping layer, a highly efficient driver system is created that performs well on all playback devices.

The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil and ensures that it remains securely positioned in the magnetic gap even at high excursions. Another advantage is the wide and natural frequency response. The fast response of the transducer and detailed transient reproduction, due to the low coil weight, ensure consistently reliable and distortion-free sound, even at high sound pressure levels.

The cable concept also proves to be suitable for everyday use: the detachable mini-XLR cable can be changed as desired and replaced with cables of different lengths or with different connection options.

The new PRO X series also embodies what professional Beyerdynamic headphones have always stood for: maximum wearing comfort. The robust spring steel headband construction gives the over-ear headphones a secure fit and ensures durability. The soft velour ear pads are, as usual, supple and ensure comfortable air circulation. Thanks to soft memory foam, the headband ergonomically adapts to the shape of the head and, like the ear pads, can be replaced if necessary.
