The MXN10 network player integrates the world of high-resolution music formats into beloved Hi-Fi systems and other audio setups. Its compact half-width chassis offers flexible positioning. The MXN10 can access both free music, including internet radio, and subscription services – many of which offer free trials, so you can quickly find the perfect streaming partner for you. The MXN10 can also play high-resolution music from USB drives and NAS drives. This allows digital music from an unlimited number of sources to be played via a single compact device – all controllable from your phone with the StreamMagic app.

Over a Decade of Streaming Know-How
The MXN10 is controlled by the latest 4th generation StreamMagic module and software. This is a system developed by Cambridge Audio in London, standing for uncompromising Hi-Fi sound and rock-solid streaming performance. It is intuitive to use and can play music at an incredible resolution of up to 768 KHz and 32 bits as PCM or in DSD512 format, satisfying even the most demanding listeners.

Streaming of the Future
When streaming music, sound quality was once sacrificed for convenience. Fortunately, things have changed: thanks to fast broadband internet, newer audio CODECs, and more choices of streaming services. And thanks to the acclaimed Cambridge Audio StreamMagic platform, the MXN10 is incredibly easy to use.

More Choices
The MXN10 can access both subscription and free high-resolution streaming services, including internet radio, Spotify Connect, Tidal, Deezer, and Qobuz – all integrated for the best possible sound quality. Via Apple Airplay2 and Chromecast built-in, you can access Apple Music and even more services, including BBC Sounds. The MXN10 is also Roon Ready, allowing you to combine your digital music, regardless of its origin, into a single magazine-like service.

Internet Radio, Live Broadcast
Just like traditional radio, but received via the internet rather than radio waves. You can listen to your favorite broadcasters, dedicated internet radio stations (like Soho Radio and NTS), and many more radio programs from all over the world – all for free. Who knows what discoveries you'll make on that one special station from Tasmania? Plus, many stations offer much higher quality than DAB.

The Gift of Music
If friends visit who don't (yet) use the StreamMagic app, they can play their favorite tracks wirelessly via Bluetooth from their phone. And if you have high-resolution FLAC files on a USB drive, you can listen to them in full Hi-Fi quality by simply connecting the drive to the MXN10's USB port.

For music enthusiasts like us, there comes a time when storage space becomes scarce. And then there's the price you have to pay to hear a handful of "previously unreleased" tracks found exclusively in thick, limited box sets. The compact MXN10 offers you the best of both worlds: listen to music tracks in incredible high-resolution quality, without having to worry about the impact on your shelf or your wallet.

You're in Control
Interacting with the MXN10 couldn't be simpler. The StreamMagic app allows intuitive control of connected sources. You can program presets, browse albums, or create playlists – all from the convenience of your mobile device. Alternatively, on the MXN10's elegant surface, there's a set of buttons you can program for direct access to internet radio stations and favorite playlists.

Well Connected
On the back of the MXN10, you'll find a pair of analog RCA outputs, a coaxial and an optical digital output, a USB input, a pair of Wi-Fi antenna jacks for wireless network connection, and also an Ethernet cable input, should you prefer.

The analog and digital outputs work simultaneously, so you can also use your stereo system as a source in a multi-room setup.

Designed for Long Life
The MXN10 owes its sleek, timeless look to the characteristic moon-grey aluminum fascia and the black "floating" base. The 215mm wide half-size chassis matches the DacMagic200M and Alva Duo, offering flexible placement and breathing new life into any Hi-Fi system – even an old mothballed amplifier. Thanks to online updates, the MXN10 will provide entertainment for many years to come.

Firmware Update
Cambridge Audio's AXN10 and MXN10 network players have proven to be a great success since their launch in February. Now, the British brand is making its two latest streamers even better and responding to customer feedback by adding app-based volume control via a free firmware update.

After updating via the StreamMagic app, the AXN10 and MXN10 will have a pre-amplifier function that allows you to control the volume via the app. You can still control the volume via your streaming service's app or via the physical controls on your amplifier/wireless speaker, if you prefer.

Other updates in the new software version add more features to the StreamMagic app, including two new browsing functions: "Go to Album" and "Go to Artist". The "Now Playing" screen also offers more options for favoriting and adding tracks to playlists.

The firmware update, available from July 27, 2023, is part of Cambridge Audio's commitment to continuous product improvement wherever technically possible.
