OPTICON 6 MK2
The slim floor-standing speaker OPTICON 6 MK2 is the first model in the OPTICON MK2 series to feature the well-known DALI Hybrid Tweeter, combining a soft dome and ribbon tweeter. The hybrid tweeter reproduces highs with significantly more detail. For the OPTICON MK2, it has been further improved: the 29 mm dome adopted from the CALLISTO series is integrated here together with the 17 × 45 mm ribbon element into a revised cast aluminum front plate. Bass and midrange in the OPTICON 6 MK2 are covered by two 6½-inch wood fiber cones with SMC-based magnets. The lower of these two drivers is slightly attenuated in the midrange.

Optional bi-wiring is possible for the OPTICON 6 MK2, allowing the mid-woofer and high-frequency module to be connected independently. With the double mid-woofer module, the Dual Flare bass reflex tube, and the increased internal volume of a floor-standing speaker, the OPTICON 6 MK2 can deliver significantly more powerful bass than the OPTICON MK2 compact models. This higher bass performance, combined with brilliant clarity in the midrange and the typical sparkling highs of the DALI Hybrid Tweeter, creates a convincing
whole.

The OPTICON 6 MK2 comes with cast aluminum base elements. These are supplemented either with black chrome-plated floor spikes or (if installation on sensitive floors is planned) vibration-reducing damping pads. Tools for assembling the cast base elements and spikes are included.
