The SONIK series utilizes our patented SMC™ magnet material to reduce distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring surrounds a hybrid iron-SMC™ pole piece, placing the SMC™ directly within the voice coil's operating zone. This minimizes hysteresis effects and eddy currents, resulting in a cleaner, more detailed, and relaxed midrange performance.
