NOIRE X is based on an updated and improved AEON audio driver. The new driver is significantly stiffer than its predecessor, with superior unit-to-unit consistency, reduced distortion, improved reliability, and a smoother frequency response.
Extensive investment in research and development has been made to optimize other aspects of the NOIRE X's planar driver. New manufacturing processes combined with a highly optimized V-Planar diaphragm tensioning system ensure a remarkably uniform frequency response with low distortion across the entire audible range, achieving a level of detail previously found primarily in Dan Clark's top-tier headphones.
