The Scarlett 18i16 4th Gen is designed for producers and musicians who require a particularly flexible audio interface for more complex recording setups. The revised fourth-generation microphone preamplifiers deliver exceptionally transparent sound quality and offer 69 dB of gain, providing ample headroom for almost any microphone.
Air Mode for Characterful Recordings
The integrated Air mode adds presence and musical depth to recordings. Two different sound options are available: a high-frequency boost for additional clarity and a harmonic drive effect for more character.
Automatic Level Control
The intelligent functions Auto Gain and Clip Safe significantly assist the recording process. While Auto Gain automatically sets the optimal level, Clip Safe ensures that the signal remains clean even during sudden volume peaks.
Expandable Studio Architecture
Thanks to its extensive I/O options, the Scarlett 18i16 can be easily integrated into complex production environments. External preamplifiers, digital devices, or additional converters can be seamlessly incorporated into the setup.
Control is conveniently handled via Focusrite Control 2, allowing for flexible adjustment of routing and monitoring at any time.
