Open-back Design
The HEDDphone D1 features an open-back, over-ear design that supports natural spatiality and allows the driver to operate freely. This makes it particularly suitable for monitoring situations where transparency and a quiet, unobtrusive sound character are desired.
Thin-Ply Carbon in the Driver
The central innovation is the Thin-Ply Carbon diaphragm, which aims to control resonances and enable fast transients without traditional additional damping. In conjunction with the dynamic driver, this creates an approach focused on precision, speed, and tonally balanced reproduction.
Studio-Friendly and Robust
With 32 Ohm impedance and 100 dB sensitivity, the headphones are versatile and can be operated with mobile sources as well as headphone amplifiers. The robust features, including a textile-covered cable, adapter, and transport case, also make them suitable for everyday use in the studio and while traveling.
For Long Sessions
The moderate weight of 350g and the perforated velour ear pads are designed for extended listening sessions. This means the D1 combines technical precision with a practical wearing concept for professional and ambitious listeners.
