In mono mode, the H30A delivers a breathtaking 1100 watts into 8 ohms. It remains stable and superior even with extreme loads - even at only 1 ohm. Two separate 1000 VA toroidal transformers and a power bank of 270,000 µF capacitors form the backbone of its power supply unit. The result: lightning-fast response, enormous power reserves and no audible transformer hum - even at the highest levels.
But power alone is not enough. The H30A was built to convey the finest details with unshakeable calm. The input stage works with hand-selected FET transistors, perfectly matched to eliminate distortions of higher order. The music signal remains as clean and unadulterated as possible. This is supported by Hegel's patented SoundEngine technology, which analyses the signal in real time and corrects any distortion that occurs - without delay, without compromise.
