Compared to its predecessor, the H90, the H95 has been equipped with a significantly upgraded DAC. The H95 offers a dynamic 60 watts per channel and features a range of functions that provide added value and flexibility. Network streaming, Apple Airplay, and a variety of digital and analog connections have been integrated into the Hegel H95. All inputs are configurable with a fixed level, allowing the H95 to be easily integrated into a home cinema system. It also features a high-quality headphone output and an elegant, informative, white OLED display. The new and improved SoundEngine2 further reduces distortion and ensures that even the smallest details in the music can be heard. SoundEngine2 also significantly improves bass control and the amplifier's grip on the loudspeakers, which is why even a tiny 60 watts of output power can be sufficient. The damping factor is up to 20 times higher than the industry average. This ensures dynamic and powerful bass reproduction, even with larger floor-standing loudspeakers.

AirPlay
Hegel announced in mid-January 2023 that AirPlay 2 is now available for all current integrated amplifiers. With AirPlay 2, users can stream music from any Apple device directly to their Hegel integrated amplifier. The AirPlay 2 update allows users to control their music from their Apple devices: they can easily access their music library, stream music from a variety of streaming services, and control the volume of their music. AirPlay 2 also allows multiple speakers and amplifiers to be connected to the same source, creating a multi-room audio experience. The update is available free of charge and can be downloaded via the device menu of the Hegel amplifier. With AirPlay 2 support, Hegel's integrated amplifiers are the perfect choice for music lovers who want to enjoy their favorite music in the highest audio quality.

Firmware Update for all TV Users
The current FW update, available from April 2023 for all current Hegel models, is interesting for all users who want to use their Hegel amplifier with a TV set.

The power-on volume and maximum volume can now be set in the amplifier's menu. This function is now also available for H95 customers.

However, the most important feature is the TV remote control function, which allows you to control the amplifier's volume with your TV's remote control. Most newer remote controls from Samsung, Sony, LG, and Philips are supported, as are most Smart TV remote controls. You can even use your Apple TV Siri remote to control the amplifier.
