In HIFIMAN's product hierarchy, "Unveiled" stands for uncompromising sound focus: only the best sound counts! At High-End 2024, the "Unveiled" models were launched, and the reference headphones Susvara Unveiled were presented to the public, followed by the HE1000 Unveiled. Now, the "Arya Unveiled" has arrived.
To maximize the sonic capabilities of the magnetostatic drivers with their transparent, wafer-thin membrane, rounded stealth magnets are symmetrically placed on both sides. A thin fleece protects the driver on the ear side, while the outer side is completely open. Sonically, the Arya Unveiled differs significantly from the Arya Organic: it has tighter bass, very accurate midrange performance, finer resolution in the upper mids, and impresses with a clearer and more open high-frequency range. Good recordings audibly benefit from this, while less successful recordings are consequently exposed more clearly.
The Arya Unveiled is lighter than the Arya Organic and will ensure excellent wearing comfort even for listeners with larger ears: like its sibling models, it offers plenty of space inside the comfortable synthetic leather ear pads. The headband is also made of synthetic leather and maintains its position effortlessly after initial adjustment. Included in the scope of delivery is a connection cable with a large jack plug. The length of approx. 1.5 m is optimally suited for most applications, such as listening directly at a desk.
Mobile phones and sound cards are not ideal partners. To avoid limiting the outstanding sound characteristics of the Arya Unveiled, operation with a high-quality headphone amplifier from the higher performance class is recommended. Despite the relatively high efficiency, amplifiers with more than 1 watt at 27 ohms make a very positive difference. The performance of the Arya Unveiled can be significantly increased – for example, by a cable upgrade with a "Parsec Headphone" from Cardas. Due to its design, mobile operation is not intended – not everyone wants to listen to your music on the train.
To protect the Arya Unveiled from damage, the supplied protective covers must be used when not in use. The strong bar magnets of the Arya Unveiled can attract metallic objects, quickly leading to paper clips, earrings, and other small parts finding their way inside the headphones.
