HiFiMAN HE-1000 Unveiled

At HIFIMAN, Unveiled means uncompromisingly breeding headphones for the best sound. It started with the Susvara Unveiled reference headphones and is now followed by the HE1000 Unveiled in a second step.

Rounded stealth magnets are mounted symmetrically on both sides to fully exploit the sonic capabilities of the magnetostatic drivers with their transparent, wafer-thin diaphragm. A thin fleece protects the driver on the ear side and is completely open on the outside. As a result, the HE1000 Unveiled gains airiness and space compared to the HE1000SE with its protective grille. However, before the musical fireworks really get going, the listener should be allowed a good 150 hours of break-in time. Only then will the basic sound warmth and bass potency be fully developed.

The HE1000 Unveiled is largely made of aluminum and, like its sibling models, offers plenty of space inside the imitation leather ear pads so that even music listeners with large ears feel comfortable. The headband is made of imitation leather and holds its position without any problems after initial adjustment. Three connection cables with resonance-absorbing fabric sheathing are included.

To protect the HE1000 Unveiled from metallic objects that are attracted by the strong bar magnets, the protective covers supplied should always be used when not in use. Otherwise, paper clips, earrings and other objects whose magnetism you never thought about will very quickly find their way inside.

For maximum sound performance, we recommend using a high-quality headphone amplifier in the higher performance class. Despite the actually quite high efficiency, amplifiers with more than 1 watt into 28 ohms have a positive effect. We recommend Cardas cables - such as a Clear Headphone - as an upgrade for the headphones.
