You will find product-specific safety instructions in the user manual.
  • Completely redesigned interior and exterior for the world's smallest native 4K projector
  • 2nd generation 8K/e-shiftX technology delivers 8K image quality
  • New BLU-Escent Laser Light Source
  • New high-quality 80mm all-glass lens with 15 elements in 11 groups
  • Native contrast ratio of 80,000:1 equals a spectacular dynamic contrast ratio of 8:1
  • 2x HDMI (32 Gbps, HDCP 2.3) inputs supporting 4K60P input signals
  • HDR10+ contains the metadata of the producer's intentions for each scene, and with this data, the projector is able to automatically reproduce images as the creator intended.
  • Frame Adapt HDR performs dynamic tone mapping of HDR10 content frame by frame or scene by scene and automatically makes adjustments to achieve optimal images. It includes improved gamma processing accuracy from 12-bit to 18-bit equivalent to reproduce smoother and finer gradations.
  • The Auto Tone Mapping function automatically adjusts settings for optimal HDR10 image quality.
  • Color management system with 6-axis matrix
  • 3rd generation 0.69-inch 4K D-ILA device (4096 x 2160) x 3
  • High brightness of 2,300 lm provides vivid and dynamic images
  • FILMMAKER MODE™ that faithfully reproduces the filmmaker's intentions.
  • For easy playback, the projector automatically switches to HDR picture mode when HDR10 signals are received.
  • Clear Motion Drive supports 4K60P (4:4:4) signals and enhances moving images more than ever
  • ISF C3 (Certified Calibration Controls) mode for reproducing excellent image quality, optimized for specific environments
  • Eight installation mode settings include Lens Control, Pixel Adjustment, Mask, Anamorphic on or off, Screen Adjust, Installation Style, Keystone and Aspect; stored installation modes for various environments can be recalled.
  • The wide color gamut exceeds the DCI/P3 specification, providing saturated, beautiful images that come to life.
  • Low Latency Mode suppresses display lag for faster response when receiving signals from PC and game consoles
  • Auto-calibration function via an optical sensor.
  • New "Vivid" picture mode for SDR images
  • DML (Display Mastering Luminance) adjusts the dynamic range for a better HDR experience

All components redesigned
The optical unit, lens, and board have been redesigned to create the world's smallest native 4K projector.

High brightness and long lifespan
JVC's Blu-Escent laser light source technology uses a blue laser diode as the light source. The DLA-NZ700 achieves a high brightness of 2,300lm and the DLA-NZ500 2,000lm. Both models have an expected lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours.

Superior Resolution
The newly developed 4K-compatible large aperture lens (80mm, 11 groups, 15 lenses) delivers full native 4K D-ILA resolution in every corner of the screen.

Gen2 Frame Adapt HDR function for brighter and more color-intensive HDR images
The Frame Adapt HDR function, which uses a proprietary algorithm to instantly analyze the maximum brightness of HDR10 content per scene or per image and perform real-time tone mapping for optimal dynamic range for video projection, has been further developed into its second generation (Gen2). The algorithm for tone mapping has been completely revised to achieve higher resolution HDR images. In addition, the proprietary algorithm for tone curve selection has been improved to reproduce HDR images that are brighter and more colorful and have a wider dynamic range.

Deeper blacks for richer gradations
Frame Adapt HDR has been expanded with the new Deep Black Tone Control, which, with a new algorithm, further darkens tones in dark areas to achieve more realistic darkness. This function maximizes the dynamic range of the new generation 4K D-ILA devices and delivers images with more contrast than ever before. Scenes with bright and dark shadows, such as night landscapes, can thus be projected even more realistically.
