Versatile Streaming Options
The MSA5500 supports leading streaming platforms such as Apple AirPlay®, Bluetooth® 5.0, Google Cast™, Spotify® Connect, Qobuz Connect, and TIDAL® Connect, including TIDAL HiFi Lossless Quality. Thanks to its intuitive operation, you can stream your favorite music directly from your smartphone – without special apps or technical knowledge.

Bluetooth and Wireless Connectivity
For Bluetooth streaming, the MSA5500 offers first-class standards such as AAC, Qualcomm® aptX™ HD, and aptX Adaptive for high-resolution, uninterrupted sound. With two Wi-Fi 6 antennas and one Bluetooth antenna, the MSA5500 guarantees stable wireless connections. Alternatively, an Ethernet port is available for wired connections.

Outstanding Sound Quality
A next-generation audiophile Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) ensures impressive sound. The Quad Balanced 8-channel 32-bit DAC offers enormous dynamics and minimal distortion – regardless of the file format. The MSA5500 is also Roon Ready certified, allowing you to take advantage of all the Roon music player's benefits, such as enhanced metadata, artist biographies, and much more.

Extensive Connectivity Options
In addition to its versatile streaming functions, the MSA5500 offers seven digital and five analog inputs, including a Moving Magnet Phono input for turntables. The digital inputs support high-resolution formats, and the USB port enables native DSD512 and DXD playback up to 384 kHz.

Television and Home Cinema
TVs can be connected via HDMI (ARC) to enjoy movies and series with superb sound quality. The MSA5500 supports Dolby® and DTS® multi-channel formats and converts them into high-quality two-channel audio. A subwoofer output also allows for the addition of an active subwoofer.

Unrivaled Amplification
The amplifier unit delivers 100 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers or 160 watts into 4-ohm models. The characteristic McIntosh Watt Meters visualize the power in real-time.
