Meze Audio STRADA
The Meze Audio STRADA is a closed-back dynamic headphone designed for balanced sound tuning, high everyday usability, and durable craftsmanship. Developed and manufactured in Romania, STRADA is aimed at listeners who require effective isolation without sacrificing tonal precision or comfort during long listening sessions.
Sound Tuning
The STRADA follows a neutral to slightly warm sound signature. The reproduction is controlled, coherent, and focuses on clarity and balance rather than exaggerated emphases.
Bass The low-frequency range is slightly elevated, giving the reproduction substance and body. At the same time, the bass remains tight and precise, without overpowering the mid-range.
Mids The mid-range is linear and transparent. Vocals and instruments are reproduced with natural timbre and clearly positioned in space. Even with more complex recordings, separation remains stable.
Highs The highs are cleanly extended and deliberately tuned to be reserved. Details are clearly presented without harshness or sharpness – ideal for long listening sessions without fatigue.
Overall, the result is a balanced, predictable, and versatile sound signature, suitable for both relaxed music listening and focused listening.
Closed-Back Design
As a closed-back headphone, the STRADA offers effective passive noise isolation. At the same time, the spatial presentation remains structured and natural, without the strongly confined effect of many closed-back designs.
Driver Design
The STRADA features a 50mm dynamic driver based on the 109 PRO platform and specially adapted for use in a closed-back enclosure.
The diaphragm consists of a carbon fiber-reinforced cellulose composite material. The surrounding torus is made of a semi-crystalline polymer, beryllium-coated using a PVD process. A stabilizing ring made of a copper-zinc alloy reduces micro-vibrations and distortions. The goal of this construction is controlled reproduction with low distortion and consistent impulse response.
Craftsmanship & Comfort
The housing is based on a revised architecture of the LIRIC series and combines metal and wood elements in a robust, functional construction.

The STRADA follows Meze Audio's sustainable philosophy and features a modular, fully serviceable construction. Individual components can be replaced if necessary – for long-term use instead of short product cycles.
