The Meze Astru is a premium in-ear monitor that impressively demonstrates how far a single dynamic driver can be pushed when engineering, materials, and acoustic design converge at the highest level. Crafted from a solid block of pure titanium and equipped with a precisely engineered 10mm dynamic driver, the Astru delivers a sound that is powerful, natural, and exceptionally captivating.

In contrast to many complex multi-driver designs, the Meze Astru deliberately focuses on a single, carefully tuned driver. The result is a particularly coherent and organic sound reproduction that combines powerful bass, richly structured mids, and finely resolved highs into a harmonious overall picture.

Immersive and Lively Sound

With the Meze Astru, listening to music becomes an intense experience. Its tuning combines energy and naturalness to create a dynamic, full-bodied sound signature.

The bass extends deep and impresses with precise control and noticeable pressure, without overpowering other frequency ranges. The mids present voices and instruments with expression and realistic presence. The highs are finely resolved and airy, without ever sounding harsh or fatiguing.

This balanced yet lively tuning allows the Astru to reveal the finest details while retaining the warmth and density that many listeners appreciate in dynamic drivers.

Highly Developed 10mm Dynamic Driver

At the heart of the Astru is a powerful 10mm dynamic driver with a multi-layered, metal-coated composite diaphragm.

The diaphragm dome consists of a PEEK base, combined with a titanium layer and an outer gold coating, applied in 80 ultra-thin layers via a 48-hour vacuum sputtering process. This complex structure increases rigidity while maintaining low weight.

The result is a driver with improved high-frequency resolution, extended frequencies, and very natural impulse response. At the same time, the tonal coherence characteristic of single-dynamic-driver designs is maintained.

Precision Titanium Casing

The housing of the Meze Astru is CNC-milled from a single block of pure titanium. This unibody construction ensures exceptional stability, durability, and acoustic consistency.

After machining, the housings undergo an electrochemical coating process that creates an elegant satin finish while enhancing wearing comfort. The production of a perfectly matched pair of Astru housings can take up to seven days – an expression of the high manufacturing quality.

Ergonomics for Extended Listening

Building on the ergonomic principles of previous Meze in-ear models, the Astru is shaped to perfectly conform to the natural contours of the ear.

The revised housing geometry reduces pressure points and ensures a stable, comfortable fit – even during longer listening sessions. The focus remains entirely on the music.

High-Quality Cable

The Meze Astru comes with a 1.2m premium cable made of silver-plated Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (LC-OFC).

The dual-strand construction with 161 conductors per strand ensures low resistance and excellent signal transmission. SoftFlex PVC insulation guarantees flexibility and high wearing comfort.

The cable terminates in a balanced 4.4mm connector, ideal for high-quality portable players and headphone amplifiers. Additionally, a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter is included to ensure compatibility with other devices.

Extensive Accessories

To enable the Meze Astru to unleash its full sonic potential, a carefully curated accessory package is included:
