In addition to BluOS integration with its many advantages, such as the integration of numerous streaming services like Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, and many more, four individually adjustable zones are available, as well as integration into home control systems such as Crestron, RTI, and Control4 (and of course Bluesound).
Powered by BluOS™ technology, the slim IMS-4 can stream to four separate zones, and its BluOS Controller app allows for maximum flexibility. This includes streaming music services, easy access to music libraries on the home network, and voice control via compatible devices.
Via the app or one of the many supported integrated home control systems, multiple IMS-4 Music Streamers can be linked with other BluOS devices to provide up to 64 music zones. Each zone can play in perfect synchronization with other zones, or different streams can be played in separate zones. And BluOS allows for high-resolution music streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz in any room on the home network.
With BluOS, the IMS-4 delivers millions of Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) recordings, presenting music exactly as the artist intended and as it was recorded in the studio. This means the IMS-4 offers a perfect music experience. Anywhere throughout the house.
Monitor Audio recommends combining the IMS-4 with a Custom Install amplifier such as the IA150-8C. With integration for Crestron, Control4, and RTI, the IMS-4 is also compatible with other BluOS-enabled devices.
