Ortofon LH-10000

The LH-10000 is an exceptionally high quality headshell made from a high performance aluminium alloy with zinc as the primary alloying element. The aluminium alloy used for the LH-10000 is strong, with a strength comparable to steel. It has good fatigue strength and machinability, but offers more corrosion resistance than many other aluminium alloys.

The LH-10000 is an extremely high quality headshell made from a high performance aluminium alloy with zinc as the main alloying element. It offers good fatigue strength and workability, but more corrosion resistance than many other aluminium alloys.

The LH-10000 features a precision machined slot on the top plate. A piece of Ortofon's special proprietary TPE (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer) compound with excellent damping properties is integrated into the slot. The LH-10000 incorporates damping technology similar to Ortofon TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms and the Xpression cartridge, further reducing unwanted resonance.

LH-10000 Applications
The LH-10000 is equipped with a set of the most sophisticated tonearm cables, identical to the Ortofon LW-800S, consisting of pure silver and silver-plated wire. The silver-plated wire transmits the very clear high sound signals, resulting in a brilliant tonality.

The LH-10000 is perfect for a variety of high-end cartridges, including MC Anna, MC Anna Diamond, MC A95, MC Windfeld Ti, and Cadenza series, e.g. the Cadenza Bronze as well as the historic MC A90, MC Windfeld, MC Century, Kontrapunkt series and MC Jubilee.

The design and mechanical dimensions of the LH-10000 offer an elegant and almost plug-and-play solution between one of these Ortofon high-end cartridges and the TA-110 / TA-210 tonearms.

The LH-10000 is azimuth-adjustable, which is advantageous for optimum channel separation.
