- For medium-mass tonearms
- Boron cantilever
- Stylus: Shibata, nude
- Aucurum coil wire
When it needs to be really good
The Ortofon MC Cadenza Black is technically based in details on the Ortofon MC Cadenza Bronze. However, it uses an ultra-light and at the same time extremely stiff boron cantilever, which allows for further improved dynamic behavior compared to the MC Cadenza Bronze. The nude diamond with a Shibata cut used in this cartridge is the icing on the cake. A nude diamond has less moving mass compared to a bonded diamond. Due to the lower inertia, the stylus can follow the groove modulation more easily.
