An external phono preamplifier is essential if there is no connection for a turntable on the existing amplifier or if the built-in phono preamplifier does not meet the music lover's quality standards. The connection is then made to a high-level input of the amplifier.

Flexible: Every cartridge performs best in an optimal electrical environment. It is therefore advantageous if a phono preamplifier can be sensitively adjusted in terms of termination capacitance, termination resistance and gain to the requirements of the cartridge.

Unusual in this price range, the device offers a variety of setting options for the termination capacitance of MM, moving iron and high-output MC cartridges as well as the termination resistance for low-output MC cartridges. The gain is adjustable in four steps. The gain setting is not coupled to an operating mode. All settings can be used for MM and MC operating modes.
