The sound quality of vinyl records significantly improves when unwanted resonances, which occur between the record and the platter during playback, are reduced. Therefore, the record and platter should form a tight connection. The Pro-Ject Record Puck Black, made of brass, achieves this in the simplest conceivable way: with its weight, it presses the record immovably onto the platter.
The felt layer on the underside protects the record label.
Note: The brass record puck is only suitable for Pro-Ject turntables with a platter bearing with ceramic running surfaces!
