Analog Intervention
The bundle is designed for direct, strong sound distortion. The Ministyler brings the characteristic Sherman filter approach into a compact format, allowing for interventions ranging from subtle coloration to significantly more aggressive forms of processing.
CV and Audio as Modulators
The way frequency and filter type can be controlled is particularly flexible. In addition to classic CV, audio-controlled modulators and FM via the input signal are also available, making rhythmic and textured movements very easy.
Drive and Resonance
With up to +30 dB gain, make-up control, and a wet/dry mix, the sound range can be cleanly tamed or deliberately overdriven. The resonance can go all the way to self-oscillation, making the filter usable as a tonal sound source.
For Modular Setups
The Rodec 100 modular format and the synchronizable connections make the bundle suitable for compact modular environments. It thus functions not only as an effect but as a sound-shaping node in the signal path.
