Ultra-deep black levels – just one of the hallmarks of Sony’s unique SXRD™ technology – reduce the visibility of intrusive banding when several projector images are stitched together using edge blending to create an oversized image.
Spectacular colors with no brightness loss
Thanks to its new laser light source that incorporates a red laser diode in addition to the two different-wavelength blue laser diodes, the VPL-GTZ380 achieves the full DCI-P3 color space, which is 1.35 times wider than the sRGB of other projectors, without any loss of brightness. An added red laser diode expands the color volume significantly, with no need to sacrifice brightness, which is common in other high-end models with an integrated color filter. The sheer color accuracy of the VPL-GTZ380 makes it a compelling choice for environments like art galleries and museums.
Even more realistic
Ideal for VR, industrial design, and visualization applications, the VPL-GTZ380 features dual 3D signals in 4K 60Hz and the latest graphics processing technology that allows 4K images to be displayed at up to 120Hz RGB 4:4:4 10bit using only two Display Port cables. An added infrared LED source provides infrared illumination for night pilot training and rescue simulations using night vision goggles.
