Big Studio in a Compact Format
The SSL BiG SiX brings the core idea of a large SSL console to your desktop. With four mono and four stereo channels, a concise channel structure, and a clear master section, it offers enough scope for recording, summing, and classic analog handling in a single device.
SSL Character in the Signal Path
The SuperAnalogue preamps, the 3-band EQ, and the channel compression on the mono channels provide the familiar SSL character. The device is designed to shape signals cleanly, directly, and controllably, without unnecessarily complicating the workflow.
USB and Summing
The integrated 16-in/16-out USB-C interface connects the analog console directly to the DAW, making the BiG SiX particularly interesting for modern production environments. Additionally, analog summing helps to build mixes with more depth, structure, and a classic mixing feel.
Monitoring and Practice
Two headphone outputs, extensive monitoring functions, and a large bus compressor also make the mixer very pleasant for everyday use. The BiG SiX is therefore suitable for producers and studios who desire more physical control but do not want to set up a large console.
