Balanced Headphone Amplifier and Preamplifier
The Violectric DHA V226 is a new device in the Violectric range, featuring a powerful D/A converter, a strong balanced headphone amplifier, and a preamplifier function.

The D/A converter is a new development with the Cirrus CS43131 converter. This 32-bit converter offers a typical dynamic range of 130 dB with a THD+N of -115 dB. It supports PCM signals up to 32 bit and 384 kHz, and DSD 256.
The headphone amplifier is a further development of the multiple test winners HPA V200, V280, and V281. It offers the unparalleled natural and pleasant sound that made its predecessors famous.

Thanks to its unparalleled technology, the DHA V226 not only offers one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market, but also:

Lowest noise – due to very low internal gain. This makes the amplifier's inherent noise inaudible.
High output voltage – due to 50 Volt internal operating voltage. Therefore ideally suited for high-impedance headphones.
High output power – due to powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones might need. Therefore ideally suited for headphones with low impedances and also planar magnetics.
High damping factor – due to lowest output impedance. Therefore ideally suited to drive even the most difficult headphones without interference, guaranteeing an uncompromising frequency response.

The headphone outputs or the rear line outputs can be activated/deactivated via a switch on the front.
