The D/A converter is a new development with the ESS-Tech ES9026 PRO converter. This 32-bit converter includes 4 parallel D/A converters per channel and offers a dynamic range of 124 dB with a THD+N of -110 dB. The headphone amplifier incorporates the latest findings from Violectric's and Niimbus' many test winners.
Most functions can be conveniently controlled via a remote control. Thanks to its unparalleled technology, the Violectric DHA V590² offers not only one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market, but also:
Lowest Noise - due to very low internal gain. This makes the amplifier's inherent noise inaudible.
High Output Voltage - due to 50 volts internal operating voltage. Therefore ideally suited for high-impedance headphones.
High Output Power - thanks to powerful amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones might need. Therefore ideally suited for low-impedance headphones and planar magnetics.
High Damping Factor - due to the lowest output impedance. Therefore ideally suited for driving even the most difficult headphones without coloration, guaranteeing an uncompromising frequency response.
The ViolectricDHA V590² offers:
- Remote control for volume, mute, input selection, resampling, output selection
- A motorized volume control and a balance control
- 3 analog stereo inputs, 2 x unbalanced via RCA, 1 x balanced via XLR
- 4 digital inputs, balanced, coaxial, optical with up to 24 bit and 192 kHz, USB with up to 32 bit and 384 kHz for PCM signals, DSD 64 - 256
- 4 x 32 bit converters per channel with -110 dB THD+N and 124 dB dynamic range
- +/- 18 dB Pre-Gain for optimal adaptation of the DHA V590 to source and headphones
- 4 powerful amplifiers, 6400 mW Pmax into 50 ohms, 21 V RMS into 600 ohms
- Monitoring of headphone outputs for DC voltage and overload
- Headphone path and line-out path separately switchable
- Headphone outputs: 1 x 4-pin XLR, balanced / 1 x Pentaconn, balanced / 1 x 6.3 mm jack, unbalanced
- Line outputs, stereo: 1 x balanced via XLR and 1 x unbalanced via RCA
- Adjustment of the line-out signal to subsequent devices in the range of +/- 18 dB
- 2 toroidal transformers, > 35,000 uF filter capacitance
The choice is yours:
Headphone amplifier? Preamplifier? D/A converter? Combination? Everything is possible!
The headphone outputs or the rear line outputs can be activated/deactivated via a switch on the front panel.
Connect not only your headphones to the Violectric DHA V590², but also your power amplifier or active loudspeakers and enjoy a compact and fantastic-sounding headphone amplifier and a premium preamplifier.
