Precise listening pleasure
With the Full Score one, Austrian Audio presents its first discrete headphone amplifier. It draws on extensive experience in the design and manufacture of the multi-award-winning Austrian Audio microphones and headphones for studio and live sound.
The Full Score one sets new sonic and technical standards, whether you are just getting into hi-fi, are an old hand, or mix or master professionally. Both internally and externally, we rely on the highest quality and durability "Made in Austria", from the elegant and robust extruded aluminum housing to the high-end and military-grade electronic components.
True Transient Technology
With the Full Score one, we introduce a special feature: True Transient Technology (TTT). When activated, the headphone amplifier becomes significantly faster and can reproduce even the most percussive transients in the audio signal with full detail, from the impulses of snare or bass drums to the delicate plucks of an acoustic guitar. This is made possible by a discretely constructed, extremely low-noise, analog circuit concept free of any ICs in the signal path. From a technical point of view, the Austrian Audio Full Score one resembles an extremely low-noise power amplifier.
This allows the amplifier to effortlessly drive both low-impedance headphones with under 10 ohms and less sensitive headphones with over 300 ohms. The amplifier circuit consists of a broadband voltage feedback amplifier with a fully balanced voltage amplifier stage, a cascoded parallel differential amplifier input stage, and a triple output stage in Class B operation. Due to the circuit design, distortions at any output voltage up to high frequencies far outside the audio range are minimal.
Thus, the Austrian Audio Full Score one, together with the Austrian Audio The Composer, forms a perfect duo.
