Analog Basic Character
The Typhon features a clear, direct analog design with two VCOs and a 24 dB low-pass filter. This creates a compact synthesizer with a powerful fundamental tone, particularly suited for basses, leads, and distinctive sequences.
Modulation and Movement
The three modulators with multiple operating modes give the instrument significantly more depth than one would expect for its size. Together with the envelopes and the step sequencer, static sounds can be quickly transformed into lively, moving sounds.
Effects by Sinevibes
The integrated DSP effects strongly shape the Typhon and extend its sonic character beyond pure analog sound. From distortion to modulation, delay, and reverb, it becomes a tool that feels very complete even without external effects units.
Direct Workflow
Despite its deep sound possibilities, operation remains clear. The front panel clearly separates immediate sound control, modulation, and effects processing, allowing the synth to be used quickly and focused in the studio as well as in small spaces.
