Genelec GLM Kit – Central Control for Perfect Room Acoustics

The Heart of the SAM System

The Genelec GLM Kit (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) is the central control and calibration solution for all Genelec Smart Active Monitoring systems. It allows for precise adaptation of loudspeakers and subwoofers to the respective room acoustics – automated, reproducible, and at a professional level.

Automatic Calibration with AutoCal

Using the included measurement microphone, the system analyzes the room and identifies problematic frequency ranges, latencies, and level differences. These are then automatically corrected, resulting in a balanced and reliable sound image.

The result is not only better sound but, above all, greater confidence in sound-related decisions – especially in acoustically less-than-perfectly optimized rooms.

Complete System Control

All connected SAM monitors and subwoofers can be centrally controlled via the GLM software. Levels, delay, filters, and groups can be flexibly configured and saved. Even complex multi-channel or immersive setups can be efficiently managed this way.
