Pro-Ject Amp Box RS2 - High-End Sound
The new Amp Box RS2 features our reference high-end amplifier design. It offers a three-dimensional soundstage, perfect micro-dynamics, and ultimate resolution – all with high output power. The Class-AB amplifier design provides fascinating fidelity and maximum efficiency with low distortion. It meets the highest sound standards in terms of spaciousness and fine dynamics. Like many Pro-Ject RS products, the Amp Box RS2 also features a reference-grade tube buffer in the input stage. The luxurious full metal casing is not only an eye-catcher but also important for excellent heat dissipation.
Inputs and Outputs / S232 Control
The Amp Box RS2 offers unbalanced RCA input jacks and balanced XLR inputs. You can switch the input on the front panel or via RS232. The solid, isolated, gold-plated loudspeaker output terminals accept 4mm banana plugs, spades, or bare wire ends. Our Connect it LS cable range offers various cable types for all requirements.
Upgrade Linear Power Supply
A clean and stable power supply is a necessary foundation for any HiFi setup. The included power supply is already a good basis. The separately available Power Box RS2 Amp goes even further: A linear power supply consists of a large toroidal transformer with shielding between the primary and secondary windings, which acts as an isolation transformer and prevents interference from the mains from entering the amplifier. This transformer also has a larger power reserve compared to a standard power supply.
