Studio Quality on the Go

The CM-15 brings a large condenser capsule into an unusually small format. This makes it suitable for speech recordings, vocals, instruments, and other applications where clear and transparent sound is required. The supercardioid pattern helps to deliberately block out ambient noise and focus on the source. This is particularly valuable for mobile setups, as the sound is not dominated by the surroundings.

Three Operating Modes

One of its greatest strengths is its flexible use via XLR, USB-C, or the integrated battery operation. The microphone can therefore be used as a classic studio microphone, a USB microphone, or a standalone mobile solution. All three methods can be used simultaneously, making it even more versatile for hybrid setups. This way, the CM-15 adapts to different workflows instead of covering only one fixed application.

Clean Signal Routing

The built-in ESS Sabre converter and JFET preamplifier help ensure that the signal remains clean and high-quality. With three gain stages and an 18 dB pad, the input level can be adjusted to suit speech, vocals, or louder sources. This keeps the CM-15 controllable even in very different recording situations. Especially for mobile productions, this headroom is a noticeable advantage.

Black Edition

The Black version does not change the acoustic or technical fundamentals, but primarily the appearance. The dark finish looks calmer and more discreet, which can be pleasant in many studio and field setups. Functionally, the CM-15 Black remains identical to the standard version. So, if you are looking for the same features in a darker look, you get the same solution with a different aesthetic.
